greetings from the Grimes family!
we are excited to celebrate that we have been here in Florida for 3 weeks. and oh how they have flown by! we have had the chance to be busy bodies, and lazy bodies...and we are still learning more and more about marriage through it all!
Rhett is working wonders at his bookstore...it's hard to believe that it was just an empty shell just over a month ago when we came home-hunting! his staff are incredible, and he is working so hard and so well. I am so proud to be his wife.
My job applications are still...well... I have no idea. Only one out of 7 actually gave a timeframe for what to expect, and that date is May 1st. everything else said don't call us, we'll call you. when, you ask? your guess is as good as mine.
We love our church. we have been blessed to find it, and have met dozens of people (all SO friendly!) and I start volunteering in the nursery on Sunday! what an exciting time.
We have the great opportunity to see cirque de soleil in downtown disney this weekend, and attend an Easter sunrise service at SeaWorld. our first glimpses of tourist orlando!
hopefully one day I'll pull out my camera and start taking pictures! more to come soon.

Greetings from the Sunshine State!
and the happiest place on earth!
We have been here one week now. We had a long trip...so I'll just update you!
The bookstore boys had corporate meetings the weekend before we left. I was blessed to have Angie and Emily come over for a good old-fashioned slumber party! What a blast.
Then came Monday morning...we loaded up the moving van, checked out of the aparment, and got on the road about 2:30. Thanks to the wonderful fabulous incredible sweetheart Angie for making this journey with us. We couldn't have done it without you!
We drove about 8 hours and arrived in Diamondhead Mississippi, stayed the night, and got on the road about 7:30 the next morning. Not too much later, I see red and blue lights flashing behind me! He pulled me over because I crossed the "white line on the road" but really he wanted to make sure I had no contraband in the giant uhaul. what an adventure.
We got to cross 4 state lines, and finally made it home about 8:30 EST. weird. We unpacked enough stuff to sleep on beds..and enjoyed a good sleeping-in. We unpacked, got settled, got FL drivers licenses, made walmart runs....and now we're on a roll at the bookstore!
Angie and I went to Downtown Disney on her last night being here, and had such a great time.
Rhett has been interviewing, and setting up, and cleaning up, and we have had company every night since we have been here! I love a full house : )
We found a great church home on our first try, and are so excited about how we will grow there. I have applied for 5 jobs here in central florida, and look forward to knowing the results within the next month or so!
Keep us in your prayers...and I will be a better blogger so that you can keep up with our Florida Adventure. and of course, come visit us and go to Disney!
In Him,
The Grimes
