it's friday, friday...oh wait, no it's not.

there's not much to update today, but if I work on posting when I have a little bit of news, then maybe my posts won't be so long and ominous.

so after the beach day on sunday, monday was a nice relaxing morning, and a fun afternoon with our second family. we went to the thomas's in the afternoon, and some of our small group was there, and we just ate and played games and celebrated america's birthday together! and, of course, went to see fireworks.

we love you very much. thank you for adopting us. we quadruple love your kids. we love that we feel at home in your home. we love that you take care of us. we love that you tease us. we are so blessed to be so well taken care of by you. thank you for being mentors in marriage, and ministers of Christ.

then yesterday, several things happened!

I had requested on saturday to take my verbal situation test at work on tuesday. so I studied for it, and wasn't really expecting much, because everyone that I saw walk into the office for their test, walked out with a non-pass (you have to make a 100%). I thought, the earlier I took it, the more time I would give myself to re-take it. but I PASSED! first try! I am totally psyched. at this point, the only thing that it means is that I am proving my interest in being kept on after the summer, and taking the steps towards moving up. essentially it adds on to my file, so when they look at all the files at the end of the summer, they will know that I want to stay! over the next few weeks, I will also request to be evalled on my narrations as well.
