change

so it's been a few days. but at least not a few weeks.

first of all...training starts this week! I can't wait. I'm terrified of the first couple days until I get into a routine, but I am so excited just to even get to see the seaworld here. and work there! I watch the seaworld facebook page...and people always talk about wanting to work there, and they know everything about every whale and the names of tricks and things...and I envy what they know, but I am so blessed to have a job there! I can't wait!!!

fruit flies. disgusting. minivacuum=fruit flies foe. and it wins. I vacuumed up like a bajillion of them. disgusting.

seaworld did a hair drug test. which means that now I have 5-7 bald spots on the back of my head, which I can feel when I reach back there. freaky.

popcorn. I love popcorn. I am allergic to popcorn. I always choose to eat it anyway...and then I itch. and then I wonder why. dumb. irresistable.

on divorce court they other day, there was a man describing his wife who spent lots of money. he called her "frepulous" which I interpreted as frivolous. then the judge said something along the lines of "she can't control her frivolity" or something and he said "ohhh frivolity that's a good word. I'm gonna use that one." ha. vocabulary.

once upon a time I was watching a video online and also watching my computer battery at the same time so that I wouldn't wait too long to get up to plug it in. the battery said 39%. then 5 minutes later 48% then five minutes later 53%. magic battery? yes.

I bought boxed potato flakes this time at the grocery store, because it is quick and easy. Rhett told me it was the best mashed potatoes he's ever had. oh funny.

I know that to many of you this won't mean very much, but once upon a time, I got my scuba certification last summer. I did my training in the aggie rec pool, and then you have to get certified in "open water" so we went out to this dive park in huntsville called blue lagoon. it was horrible. the visibility was about 4' (which was terrifying for a first open water dive) and there are no fish or anything, and they have some sunken ships, but in 4' visibility you can't see them anyway. point is, it popped up on my news feed that somebody else had gotten their certification there, and described it as "so beautiful". I know that diving can be entrancing because it is awesome to breathe underwater, but I would never describe that place as beautiful I don't think. I can't wait to say from experience that she doesn't know what she's missing out on. I know it's out there, and I can't wait to see it.

I made my strawberry tarts this week to take to small group. all you college stationites, enjoy a tart at cafe capri, and then know why I learned to make these delicious treats.

Rhett and I have not been sleeping well. sometimes we like to put the mattress in the living room to watch tv...and then we don't sleep through the night with all the different living roomsounds. makes for along week when you don't sleep on sunday night.

there is a delicious frozen yogurt place next to the store called FreshBerry. it's like spoons, except they give you 3 free toppings instead of by weight. and it's delicious. but you can get a small for $5, or you can get a gallon and a pint of ice cream from walmart for $6.50 and a box of granola and have ice cream instantly for weeks to come. yesssssss.
